Servants' Quarters at the Queen & I Bed & Breakfast

The Servants' Quarters

This second floor room in our historic, 1873 Italianate brick farmhouse is beckoning for guests to come and enjoy it's charm. Originally when the house was built, this was the Servants' Quarters and now serves as the master suite for the Innkeepers. This room has 9' ceilings, Queen bed and en suite bathroom that includes a walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

Breakfast can be prepared for an additional cost per person depending on the hosts' schedule. Please inquire.

Guest Access

In addition to the bedroom, within the house guests will have access to the dining room and TV room. Kitchen use is limited to fridge and microwave access. Outside the grounds are available for use. Laundry is available upon request.

Interaction with Guests

We will interact with the guests as much as time allows and you desire. We love to chat about our home and adventures and hope to hear about yours.

The Neighborhood

Our rural setting is surrounded by woods, prairie grass and planted fields. There are no houses on our side of the road with smaller homes on the opposite side of State Road 32.

Getting Around

The Queen & I is a short 45 minute drive to Indianapolis Airport, 7 minute drive to Wabash College, 35 minutes from Turkey Run State Park and 45 minutes from Purdue University.

Other Things to Note

This home is a loving work in process. After purchasing the home in October 2014, there always seems to be something more to do, another project to tackle. We will not plan to have projects going in the areas where you will be. We are currently planning our garden and preparing to expand our flock of chickens.
